Choose your language

First launch asks once. You can change it any time.

   Pick a language on the Language screen, then tap Continue.

   Later: menu → Settings → User Interface → Language.

Take the tour

A short walk-through of the lobby.

   Tap Take the tour on first launch, or Skip to go straight in.

   Replay it any time: menu → About → Take tour.

Play as a guest

No email needed — start playing straight away.

   Tap Continue as guest in the sign-in dialog.

2. 2

   Guests can play, chat and add favourites. Online stats, groups and messages need an account.

   Sign in later and you can keep your Avatar and Friendships.

Sign in with email

No password — we email you a code.

   Enter your Email, then tap Continue.

   Type the code from the email and tap Submit code.

   New here? Choose a username and tap Sign Up.

Sign in with Google or Apple

   Tap Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple on iPhone and iPad.

   First time: choose a username and tap Sign Up.

Change your email or username

   Email: menu → Settings → Account → Change Email, then confirm the code.

   Username: open My Profile and tap the pencil beside your name.

Sign out or delete your account

   Open My Profile and scroll to the bottom.

   Tap Sign Out, Log out of other devices, or Delete my account.

   Deleting asks twice and cannot be undone.

Find your way around

   Tabs: Tables for open games, People for who is online, Leaders for rankings.

   Bottom bar: Filter Tables, My Community, Tell a friend, Open chat.

   The game circles at the bottom start a new game.

Filter the table list

   Tap Filter Tables.

   Choose Game types and a speed: Fast, Medium, Relaxed or No Limit.

   Toggle Show in-progress and Friends only, then tap Done.

   The ? button in the sheet header replays a short tour of each filter.

Open the main menu

Tap the menu button at the top right.

   Jump to Home, My Community or My Stats and Games.

Quick Join a game

The fastest way into a game.

   Tap a game circle: Cutthroat, Partner, French or Points.

2. 2

   Tap Quick Join. You join an open table, or one is created for you.

Create your own table

   Tap a game circle, then Create Table.

2. 2

   On the gear tab set Players, First to or Love, and the speed.

3. 3

   On the people tab choose Invite Only or Anyone, and search to add players.

4. 4

   On the duppy tab add duppies to fill seats, then tap Start.

Join a table or a seat

   On the Tables tab tap Join, or tap an empty seat and choose Join here.

   Already at a table? You will be asked to go back to it or leave it first.

Invite people to your table

   At the table tap Invite people.

2. 2

   On Invite search a username and select who to invite.

   Or use Share for a link, or QR Code for someone sitting with you.

   Invitees get a notification with Join.

Fill empty seats with Duppies

Duppies are computer players.

   On the duppy tab of Create Table, turn Duppies on.

2. 2

   Drag Duppy Difficulty to set how hard they play.

3. 3

   Turn on Fill with duppy on leave so a leaver is replaced automatically.

Watch a game

1. 1

   On the Tables tab, tap the eyes icon on a table that is already playing.

2. 2

   You see the board and every hand count, but no hand of your own.

3. 3

   Tap the + on a seat to take it if one opens up.

Play, pass and draw

1. 1

   Tap a domino, then tap the end of the board where it goes.

2. 2

   No move? Tap Pass. In draw games tap DRAW first.

3. 3

   Playable dominoes are highlighted and the rest are dimmed.

Change how you play tiles

Menu → Settings → Gameplay.

   Move Action: Tap to Move or Drag & Drop.

   Also here: Confirm Play, Sort Hand by Suit, Playable Domino Hints and Auto throw in.

Someone joined mid-game — redeal?

1. 1

   When a player joins, everyone is asked to vote on a redeal.

   Tap Yes, redeal or dismiss it. A majority redeals the hands.

Missed turns

1. 1

   Miss too many turns and you are moved to Spectating.

2. 2

   Tap Join to take a free seat again.

Voice chat at the table

1. 1

   Tap Join voice to talk, or Listen to voice to only hear.

2. 2

   Use Mute microphone, or Hold to talk when push to talk is on.

After the game

1. 1

   Play again keeps your seat for the next set.

2. 2

   Review Games opens the history, where Share Replay sends a link.

3. 3

   Leave takes you back to the lobby.

Leave a table

   Tap the gear at the top left, then Leave Table, then Leave.

The table gear menu

   Tap the gear at the top left of any table.

   Leave Table exits. Info and Table show and change the table settings.

   Dominoes and Gameplay change how the game looks and plays.

   Refresh re-syncs. Report an issue sends us a diagnostic.

Cutthroat

Every player for themselves, two to four players.

   First to six wins by default.

Partner

Two against two, with partners sitting across from each other.

What do Love, Bruk and Capicú mean?

The in-app glossary explains the table talk.

   Menu → Learn to play → Reference → Glossary.

   Love is a score of zero. Bruk is a broken winning streak. Capicú is a win whose domino matches both ends.

Play against Duppies

   Tap a game circle, then Play with Duppies.

   Tap the x on a duppy to swap it for another from the row below.

   Set First to a score or Love, the Deal size, then Start Playing.

Practice a game type

   Menu → Learn to play, then tap Cutthroat or Partner under Practice.

   Set the Opponents difficulty and how many rounds in the Set.

   Turn Visible Hands on to see every hand, then tap Start Practice.

Take a lesson

   Menu → Learn to play, then pick a lesson under Lessons.

See your offline games

   Menu → Offline games.

See who is online

   Open the People tab for the Online and Offline lists.

   Tap Go to jump to a player’s table, or tap a name to open their profile.

Add a favourite and make friends

   Open a player’s profile and tap Favourite.

   When they Favourite Back you become friends.

   Friends can invite and message each other.

Partner up for Partner games

   On the People tab tap Partner beside an online player.

   Confirm with Partner in the Partner Up dialog.

   Once they accept you are always seated together.

Block, mute or report a player

   Open their profile and tap Mute to hide their chat, or Block to cut off invites, messages and shared tables.

   Manage the lists in menu → Settings → Friends & Favourites and Blocked & Muted.

Control who can invite or message you

   Tap your avatar in the lobby.

   Accept Invites From: Anyone, Friends, Favourites or Group.

Create a group

   Bottom bar → My Community → My Groups → Create Group.

   Enter a Group name. Turn on Public group if anyone may request to join.

   Tap Create.

Invite people to your group

   Open the group and tap the person-plus icon in the bottom bar.

   On By Username, search a name, tick it, then tap Send Invites.

   On Share Link, tap Create New Link and share it. Links expire in 7 days.

Join a group

   From a link: open it and tap Accept.

   From an invite: open Notifications and tap Accept.

   Public groups: My Community → All Groups → search → Request to join.

Approve requests and manage members

   Owners see join requests in Notifications with Accept and Decline.

   Group → Members → tap a member to remove them.

   Group Settings → Allow Member Invites lets members invite others.

Play inside a group

   Open the group and tap a game under Start a group game.

   Only members can see or join the table.

   The speech-bubble icon in the bottom bar opens the group chat.

Edit, leave or delete a group

   Open the group and tap Group Settings.

   From there: Edit Name, Edit Photo, Leave Group or Delete Group.

Chat in the lobby or at a table

   Tap the speech-bubble icon at the right of the lobby bottom bar.

   At a table, the same icon opens that table’s chat.

   Lobby chat is public, so keep it civil.

   At a table, tap the emoji button to react over your seat.

Send a private message

   Open a player’s profile and tap Message.

   Or open Notifications and switch to the Messages tab.

Hide chat

   Menu → Settings → User Interface and turn Show Chat off.

Open your inbox

   Tap the bell at the top right of any screen.

   Notifications holds table and group invites, favourites and requests.

   Messages holds your private chats.

Turn popups, sounds and vibration on or off

   Menu → Settings → General, then scroll to Feedback.

   Toggle Notification Popups, Notification Sounds and Notification Vibrations.

Change your avatar

   Tap your avatar in the header to open Status, then tap the pencil on the picture.

   Pick a preset from Select avatar, or use Remove avatar to clear it.

   With Premium, Upload custom photo lets you choose Choose from gallery or Take photo, then crop it.

Show your flag

   Menu → Settings and tap the flag pencil beside your avatar.

   Use Search countries, or pick one from the Caribbean list.

See your stats and history

   Menu → My Stats and Games.

   Online lists your rating per game type, Local your offline record.

   Tap a game type for the detail and match history.

Change the theme

   Tap the theme button in the header, or use menu → Settings → Theme.

   Choose from fifteen themes such as Dr Bird, Moonlight, Yellow Yam and Sand, or Follow System.

Change how dominoes look

   Menu → Settings → Dominoes.

   Swipe the Style row to pick a tile set.

   Adjust Bold, Jitter, Show Numbers, Pip Colours and Opponent hands.

   Draw Style: Clean, Sketchy or Brush.

Layout, orientation and performance

   Menu → Settings → User Interface for Orientation and Performance mode.

   Layout has Full Screen Table, Full Screen Lobby and Compact Table List.

What Premium includes

   Ad Free removes the ads.

   Premium removes ads and adds voice chat tables and custom avatars.

   Menu → Premium + Ad Free, choose monthly or yearly, then Subscribe.

Restore or manage a subscription

   Menu → Premium + Ad Free.

   On a new phone tap Restore Purchases. To change or cancel, tap Manage subscription.

Report a game problem

   Table gear → Report an issue.

   Open Select a reason and pick one, such as Game got stuck, Game got out of sync, Game won't start, Wrong players or Abuse or harassment.

   Tap Report.

The game looks stuck

   Table gear → Refresh.

   Still stuck? Leave and rejoin from the Tables tab, then send a report.

“You are already in an active table”

   Return to that table, or leave it before starting another.

“This table is no longer available”

   It filled up or closed. Try Quick Join, or pick another table.
